Episode 1: Rite of Passage
Welcome to the very first episode of Rio & Soul! We are so glad you're here.
In this opening conversation, we invite you to pull up a chair, grab your coffee, and get cozy. We share how Rio & Soul came to be and what you can expect from the conversations ahead. We talk openly about the transformative initiation of motherhood, the ways our children become mirrors and teachers, and what it means to rediscover ourselves while navigating the ever-changing identities of womanhood and motherhood.
Together, we explore the wisdom that can emerge when we slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with the river of inner knowing that has always been flowing within us.
More than a podcast, we envision Rio & Soul as a community hub — a place where mothers and women can come to feel seen, supported, and reminded that they don't have to walk this path alone.
Oh, and a little about us!
Christina Belue is a mother, licensed massage therapist, and somatic breathwork facilitator. Her work centers around embodiment and healing, and she is passionate about breaking generational patterns and helping others access the wisdom that lives within the body.
Oriana Padron is a mother, photographer, and creative strategist exploring what it means to build a life and work that feel deeply aligned. Her journey has led her through photography, childcare, motherhood, entrepreneurship, and a deeper exploration of identity and purpose.

Episode Takeaway (a tool, a question, a practice, or simply a new perspective)
For this episode, we're inviting you to move your body and reconnect with joy.
Take off your shoes. Step outside. Put your feet in the grass. Turn on a song that makes you feel alive — and shake that ass. Dance. Move. Stretch. Jump. Let yourself play.
Movement can help us move emotions through the body and reconnect with parts of ourselves that may have been quiet for a while.
And if that's not your thing, try creating one small morning ritual that helps you set the tone for your day.
Maybe it's making your coffee slowly. Stepping outside. Listening to music. Lighting incense. Taking a few deep breaths.
Ask yourself: What is one thing I can do for myself this morning that will support how I want to move through my day?
You don't have to fix everything. You don't have to have it all figured out.
Sometimes, it starts with simply taking a breath and listening.
A Note From Rio & Soul
We created this space because we believe that mothers deserve to feel seen and supported — not judged and alone. That there is wisdom in our lived experiences. That our children can be our teachers and our mirrors. And that we are never meant to walk this path alone.
Whether you're a mother, preparing to become one, or simply navigating your own journey of becoming, we hope you'll find something here that resonates with you: a reminder, a resource, a new perspective, a feeling of being seen.
