  • Partial Preterism: The Apocalyptic End Of The Old Covenant | Matthew 16:24-28
    2026/02/26

This Right Response Ministries podcast examines why many American Christians, especially evangelicals, misunderstand eschatology due to poor hermeneutics. Using Matthew 16:24–28, the hosts argue that Jesus describes two related but distinct comings: a future, final physical return and universal judgment (v.27) and a near-term “coming” fulfilled in AD 70 through a spiritual, local judgment on Jerusalem (v.28), which they present as a partial preterist reading that avoids claims Jesus was mistaken. They stress that all Scripture is for believers but not all Scripture is directly to them, and advocate a historical, linguistic, cultural, literal, and typological approach. They also discuss Luke 18:7–8 as likely referring to the first-century context, clarify partial versus full preterism, and connect AD 70 to the closing of the old covenant while affirming a future bodily resurrection and final judgment.

  • Harboring Bitterness Vs. Desiring Justice | Ephesians 4:31-32
    2026/02/24

The episode opens with Ephesians 4:31–32 and explores bitterness primarily as it relates to struggling to forgive. Drawing from pastoral counseling, the host argues many Christians mistake ongoing anger or frustration for unforgiveness, when it may instead reflect a separate category: a God-given desire for temporal justice.

Using the example of forgiving a repentant murderer while still affirming the death penalty as biblically just, the conversation distinguishes forgiveness (love/gospel) from civil consequences (justice). The hosts discuss how bitterness often grows from perceived injustice, including cases where offenses should be treated as crimes, but modern society no longer punishes them—highlighting sexual immorality (especially adultery) and no-fault divorce as examples of injustices permitted by the state.

They also consider situations where state failure creates pastoral dilemmas, such as dealing with severe sex offenders who are released rather than executed. The discussion contrasts sinful bitterness (jealousy, misjudgment, unaddressed grievances) with righteous indignation, notes the ultimate justice of God in heaven and hell, and concludes that Christians should examine their hearts for real unforgiveness while also recognizing that anger may be rooted in legitimate longing to see God’s justice done on earth.

  • Practical Tools Every Man Must Use To Conquer Porn | Revelation 3:4-6
    2026/02/19

This episode continues a two-part series on defeating pornography, opening with Revelation 3:4–6 and emphasizing Jesus’ promise of victory to those who overcome. The speakers revisit themes from part one, including a Christian theology of sex (within marriage between a man and a woman, oriented primarily toward procreation) and the claim that pornography is a civilizational battle aimed at defiling Western Christian sexual ethics. They describe downstream harms of pornography use beyond lethargy and lack of ambition, including claims about autogynephilia and its relation to transgenderism, the way repeated viewing can warp sexual desire and identity, and practical consequences such as erectile dysfunction, performance anxiety, shame, male loneliness, fear of women, and marital strain. The episode then presents three practical tools to fight pornography: (1) marriage as a godly outlet for sexual desire, while stressing that marriage does not automatically cure pornography addiction and warning against bringing porn-shaped expectations and “unnatural” sex acts into marriage; (2) accountability, especially through monitoring software, an accountability partner who is another man rather than a wife, and drastic technological measures if necessary (including restricted devices, dumb phones, and avoiding unmonitored solitude with internet access); and (3) busyness, arguing that idleness and boredom drive relapse and that men should pursue hard work, projects, entrepreneurship, fitness, hobbies, male friendships, and substantive community to channel energy into building and responsibility. The episode closes by urging viewers to watch part one, reiterating the view that pornography must be treated not only as sin but also criminalized to protect society.*MINISTRY SPONSORS:*Genesis Gold GroupFaith-Based Gold IRA: Genesis Gold Group helps Christians protect their retirement with physical precious metals aligned with scriptural stewardship principles.https://www.RightResponseBibleGold.comEvery Man, a Businessman:Western Front Books.
