 Richard Climie helps his wife Heidi to host the family BnB named Snug Haus, as they are located in the village of Snug, about 30 minutes drive south of Hobart, Tasmania, and Heidi grew up in Germany. They are proud that Snug Haus has been rated in the top 5% of Air BNBs in Tasmania, based on favorable guest reviews. With stylishly understated décor and fantastic water views, Snug Haus has become a popular place to stay, with many visitors returning many times, describing the cabin as a home away from home. An added bonus is the abundant native wildlife, including wallabies, potoroos, possums, and echidnas ( Australian native ant eaters) that can be seen at dawn and dusk. Snug Haus is close to many of Tasmania’s favourite tourist locations including Bruny Island, the Wooden Boat School at the lovely town of Franklin, on the pristine Huon River, and the Hastings Caves with a naturally heated outdoor swimming pool.
