We’re continuing to revisit last year’s Best Picture nominees with the Oscars happening this Sunday. Before we dive into our thoughts on that, we recap the first two episodes of Euphoria Season 2 and the Love is Blind Reunion. After last week’s finale, we were eager to see how the couples are doing and there were definitely some bombshells dropped! We also gave our review of Pillion, and Ailish shared her take on Blue Moon with Ethan Hawke.

In preparation for the Oscars this Sunday, we give our Oscar predictions. While we make choices based on how we’d like to take home the prize and who we actually think will, there aren’t any nominees that we wouldn’t be happy with. It was a great year for films! Taking a step back to last year’s Best Picture nominees, we watched three more films this week. We rewatched A Complete Unknown which we felt got slighted last year with zero wins. Timmy really did portray Bob Dylan fantastically and he probably should have taken home the award. We also watched Dune: Part 2 which also stars Chalamet. Visually, this film is incredible and we can’t wait to watch the third installment on the big screen this winter. Lastly, we watched I’m Still Here for the first time. This was a harrowing account of a terrible time in Brazil’s history and it was depicted with emotion and intrigue.
