Dean Miller has worked at Rice since 2009 and is wrapping up his tenth year as the Associate AD for Sports Medicine & Performance. He talks with Voice of the Owls J.P. Heath about his time on south Main (3:15) with Rice student-athletes and the great group of trainers on campus (14:30). He talks about the evolutions in sports medicine over the years and he also tells the story of his friendship with the late Kobe Bryant (21:00), and what's next on the horizon for him.
