Dear Rest from the Noise
Welcome back to REST, a December journey of slowing down, breathing deep, and finding our stillness in God. In Mark 6 verse 31, Jesus says, Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest. Today we sit with those words by yourselves. Jesus is inviting you to step away from the noise and meet Him in the quiet.
The world is loud. Our thoughts are loud. Life can pull at us from every direction. But Jesus calls you into stillness, not to escape your life, but to breathe again. Solitude with Him is not isolation. It is restoration. It is the place where the noise fades and His voice becomes clear.
When you slow down enough to be alone with Jesus, your heart settles. Your mind softens. Your spirit comes back into alignment. This is where peace begins. This is where rest becomes real.
So today, listen for His whisper. Step away from the noise. Make space for quiet. Let Jesus meet you in the stillness and restore what the world has drained.
