  • When Trauma Changes You
    2026/02/09

    Send us a text

In this episode of Resilience w/ Dawn Olivia, I share how trauma changes who we are—and how healing begins when we learn to love the person we became after the pain. After losing my only son, my life, faith, and priorities shifted forever. I talk honestly about grief, identity, and learning to live each day with intention rather than fear.

This episode is for anyone navigating trauma, loss, or deep grief and struggling to recognize themselves. Together, we explore self-love after loss, faith-based healing, and how God meets us in the “after” of trauma.

This episode is lovingly dedicated to my son, Josiah—whose life continues to shape my purpose, my faith, and my commitment to live each day with intention and love.

This is Episode 2 of my 5-part series, Learning to Love Yourself Through the Healing.

Learning to Love Yourself Through the Healing Series - Episode 1

Not all grief comes from death. Some of the deepest pain comes from the life we thought we’d have—the marriage, the family, the healed relationship, the future that never unfolded. In this episode, I speak to the quiet grief we rarely name: grieving expectations, unmet prayers, and shattered dreams. If you’ve ever felt guilt for grieving something that “never happened,” this conversation is for you.

  • Called Beyond Comfort: Faith, Stewardship, & Financial Clarity (Take 2)
    2026/01/19

    Send us a text

What happens when God calls you beyond what’s familiar—and into purpose that requires courage, obedience, and trust?

In this powerful episode of Resilience w/ Dawn Olivia, I sit down with LeQuisha Underwood, MBA, an educator-turned-entrepreneur whose journey reflects what it truly means to answer the call beyond comfort. With over 14 years in education, LeQuisha made a faith-led pivot into entrepreneurship, finance, and real estate—discovering that financial literacy isn’t just about numbers, it’s about stewardship, freedom, and dignity.

As the Founder of On Purpose Professional, Inc., LeQuisha helps individuals and families gain financial clarity through tax preparation, bookkeeping, and strategic guidance—grounded in transparency, trust, and faith. She also serves as a Professional Learning Facilitator with Lexia Learning, impacting literacy outcomes nationwide.

This conversation lives at the intersection of faith, strategy, and resilience.
    We talk about:
-What it means to respond boldly when life calls you forward
-How faith and finances work together—not against each other
-Why stewardship is a form of obedience
-And how clarity can unlock peace, purpose, and generational impact
If you’re standing at the edge of a transition, wrestling with fear, or sensing a nudge to move forward—this episode is for you.
    * Because sometimes resilience looks like trusting God enough to step beyond comfort.

  • The Holidays Suck!! But...
    2025/12/29

The holidays are supposed to be joyful—but what if they hurt instead?
What if you’re surrounded by lights, laughter, and celebrations, yet feel painfully alone? The questions creep in: Why me? Where is my family? Who’s going to love me? Even your children or friends may feel distant—at least in your mind—and the silence feels louder than ever.

In this raw and compassionate episode, “The Holidays Suck! But…”, we sit with the truth many are afraid to say out loud: the holidays can be heavy. But they don’t have to be hopeless.

Through powerful biblical reflections, we explore how God meets us in seasons of loneliness and loss. From Job, who endured unimaginable suffering yet remained held by God’s purpose, to the Woman at the Well, who encountered love and restoration in the most unexpected place, and the Prodigal Son’s father, whose forgiveness reminds us that grace is always waiting with open arms.

This episode is a reminder that God cares deeply, even when it feels like no one else does—and that forgiveness isn’t weakness; it’s healing. If the holidays feel broken, this conversation offers truth, comfort, and a gentle invitation to experience love beyond what this season—or people—can give.

    ✨ You are not forgotten.
    ✨ You are not unloved.
✨ And this season does not define your worth.

If you’re walking through the holidays with a heavy heart, this episode is for you.
