  • Life After Plastic with Joshua Onysko
    2020/12/09

Joshua Onysko, founder of Pangea Organics and Alpine Provisions, launched a campaign last spring called Life After Plastic alluding to the idea of creating a plastic-free world beginning with the packaging he uses for his own brands. "How can I look at my grandchildren and tell them I knew what we were doing to the earth and did nothing? Only about 7% of plastic ever gets recycled and even then it can only be recycled two times and then it's landfill. It's time that we realize that we have all the power. Brands don't exist without our dollars."  In this episode, Joshua shares the truth behind the "blue bin lie" explaining how recycling isn’t what we think it is and how pressing the issue of plastic truly is. Josh shares how we can influence change through buying less, supporting companies that are doing it right, and ensuring our actions are contributing to a better future for generations to come.
