On this episode of "Plate & Ponder" we dive into tough subjects on a secular level with very special guest, Pastor Bryon Bos of Manhattan Beach's South Hills Church....
This episode is for everyone -- whether atheist, Jewish, Christian, or whatever... That's the beauty of Bryon, as he explores some of the most difficult challenges from a unique perspective but within a secular discussion.
The Need for Community: From the MB Rotary, to the Pickle Ball leagues, to the booster clubs, to the various churches and temples, to the town's country club.
The Need for Faith: Whether spiritually, religiously, financially, scientifically, medically, politically, judiciously, etc.
The Need for a Moral Compass: Yes, our leaders need to lead by example. A return to strong ethics and values will help cure many of societies ills.
The Need for Patriotism: We are all members of different teams globally. There's nothing wrong with an American rooting for America or a Canadian rooting for Canada. It's the jersey we wear, and we can still be friends with the other players, but when push comes to shove, we must be united as a nation.
