I visited Llandovery this morning to stand with our community and the Llandovery Hospital League of Friends after the heartbreaking news that our hospital's X-ray service has been permanently withdrawn. I sat down with chairman Mick Gough and treasurer Gina Jones to hear what this means for local people, from the elderly gentleman who once walked just 300 yards for an X-ray and now faces a fifty-mile round trip, to the families who raised close to £200,000 to build this unit themselves. This is the heart of our community, and I will support the people of Llandovery in every way I can.
Have a listen.
Diolch yn fawr.
