Disappointment has a way of closing rooms in your heart that you never formally decided to shut. You didn't stop believing in God. You stopped bringing him the places where he hurt you.
This episode confronts the trust that has to exist after disappointment — the guarded room a woman stops letting God into while still serving, still praying, still calling Him good. It names the agreement underneath it: that God is only trustworthy when His outcomes make sense. It opens what it means to stop waiting for an explanation and return to agreement with the character of Christ — before the evidence, apart from it, sometimes against it.
