  • Are We Listening to Yeshua?
    2026/07/28

Adonai has spoken audibly to human ears only a handful of times in Scripture. One of those times was on the Mount of Transfiguration. The message was five words. This is My beloved Son. Then three more. Listen to Him. Host Rolland Wright asks the question the modern church has largely stopped asking. Are we? In this Tuesday solo teaching, Rolland walks Matthew 17 and the specific instructions Yeshua gave that get quoted often but obeyed rarely. Sell what you have. Deny yourself. Love your enemies. Forgive. He walks the shift from Kingdom Christianity to consumer Christianity. He closes with a story about a coat, a homeless man, and the wife who found him weeks later to say my husband loved you. Not sermons. Not programs. A coat, a conversation, and a life quietly changed. Are you listening?

    You'll hear:

    • The Mount of Transfiguration and the audible voice from the cloud
    • This is My beloved Son. Listen to Him. — the command from the Father
    • The resistance most believers feel when asked whether we are actually listening
    • The Great Commission as a command, not a slogan
    • The shift from Kingdom-of-Heaven Christianity to consumer Christianity
    • Sermons rated by how they make us feel
    • Worship songs measured by how much they move us
    • The customer replacing the disciple
    • The specific instructions Yeshua gave that get quoted rarely obeyed — sell, give, deny, follow, love enemies, forgive
    • The cost of discipleship versus the comfort of attendance
    • Rolland's encounter with a homeless couple
    • The coat, the conversation, and the wife who found him weeks later
    • My husband loved you — and what that means
    • The Ekklesia lifestyle as daily obedience, not Sunday commitment

Scripture referenced: Matthew 17:1–8 (the Transfiguration), Matthew 28:18–20 (the Great Commission), Matthew 6 (do not store up treasures, do not worry, forgive as you have been forgiven), Luke 9:23 (deny yourself, take up your cross), Matthew 5:44 (love your enemies), Acts 28 (Paul on Malta and the healing that opened the whole island)

  • The Power of Mine-ism
    2026/07/21

Watch a room of toddlers with a pile of toys. There is always the one toy. And whoever has it says the same word every child in every language eventually learns. Mine. Host Rolland Wright says most of us never grew out of it. And Acts 2 shows us what a community actually looks like when they finally do. In this teaching, Rolland walks Acts 2:42–47 line by line and asks the honest question: how much of the toddler instinct is still shaping the way we as adults hold what Adonai has given us? He walks the cultural conditioning of consumerism and contrasts it with the Acts 2 pattern of open-handed community. Not communism. What Rolland calls common-ism — a Spirit-formed practice. And the truth that reframes everything: we are not owners. We are managers of what Adonai entrusts to us.

  • For Those Who Think We Have Left the Faith w/ Tim Kurtz
    2026/07/16

You have left the faith. There is a conversation many believers walking out of institutional church have had, and most of them have not known how to answer. In this episode, host Rolland Wright continues the fresh conversation with Pastor Tim Kurtz, author of Leaving Church, Becoming Ekklesia. Tim opens with a personal story about his mother that he has since repented of. He walks his Boots on the Ground initiative — a systematic training on Ephesians 4 that turns believers from hearers into doers. They open Malachi 3, Matthew 15, and the corban tradition Yeshua confronted. And they sit with 2 Timothy 3 and the man in the mirror. Tim closes with three things: study to show yourself approved, pray for the people who cannot yet see, live it. The doing is the answer.

    You'll hear:

    • Tim's personal story about lashing out at his mother — and the repentance that followed
    • Why the answer to the you've left the faith conversation is not defensive
    • Boots on the Ground — Tim's systematic training on Ephesians 4
    • The Bible class where Tim asked, what is the work of ministry?
    • Working the sound system, folding bulletins, and the machine Paul never imagined
    • Malachi 3 and the honor commandment
    • Matthew 15 — Yeshua confronting the corban tradition
    • How the corban mindset still operates in modern religious life
    • 2 Timothy 3 and the last-days list — and the man in the mirror
    • The three things Tim wants listeners to hold onto — study, pray, live
    • A mutual prayer over the audience
    • How to reach Tim if you want to engage further

    Scripture referenced: Ephesians 4, Malachi 3, Matthew 15, 2 Timothy 3, Acts 2, Romans 12, Hebrews 10
