  • Ranting Penguin Needs A Club: Ep. 1-1 NWSL Overview with Eboni
    2023/05/25

Season 1 Episode 1 of Ranting Penguin Needs A Club! This episode kicks off my look into the NWSL and the teams within as we try to find a club for the Ranting Penguin to support! I talk to Eboni, an ardent supporter of the National Women's Soccer League. Eboni gives me a supporter's-eye view of the league, why we should pay attention to it, and some of the unique aspects of the top women's professional soccer league in the U.S. (in the world?) We also go into major players, accessibility, and how the newly announced USL Super League could impact the women's soccer landscape. In the run-up to this summer's FIFA Women's World Cup, the NWSL is a don't-miss league for anyone who loves the game.
