An Addiction Recovery Lunch-hour Speaker Meeting. A new guest speaker from any 12 Step fellowship who is actively working in recovery, will speak for 25 minutes each week on a specific recovery topic. This will be followed by a moderated 25 minute Q & A session from the live audience. The live speaker meetings will be held on Zoom each Friday at 10:00 AM Pacific time. To attend the live recordings and have the opportunity of asking questions of the guest, please send an email to reco12pod@gmail.com and request to get on the invitation list. All aspects of recovery will be covered, including but not limited to: Steps, Blessings of Recovery, Relapse Prevention, Sponsoring, Specific aspects of recovery, What to do if I relapse, etc. We invite each guest speaker to seek guidance so they can reflect the light they have been given in order to inspire hope, meaning, growth and worth in each of us, the listening audience.
Reco12 is an open-to-all addictions and afflictions organization, dedicated to exploring the common threads of the differing manifestations of alcoholism; sharing tools, and offering hope from those walking a similar path. We gather from diverse backgrounds, faiths, and locations to learn and support one another. Our speakers come from various fellowships and experiences, demonstrating the universal principles of recovery. Reco12 is not allied or affiliated with any specific 12 Step fellowship.

    Michael has been in a variety of 12 Step fellowships over the years. His primary fellowship is AA, even though he is not an alcoholic-He will explain. Currently, he is most active in SLAA and CODA. Michael's favorite topic to talk on is Emotional Sobriety but in this meeting he will talk about Cancer and Addiction and tie the two together using his own experience, strength, and hope. He has been practicing as a licensed psychotherapist and life coach for the past 25 years. He and his family live in the Southwestern Suburbs of Chicago. Michael was a previous speaker on meeting 68, 110, 200, 259, and 330.

    Reco12 is an open-to-all addictions and afflictions organization, dedicated to exploring the common threads of the differing manifestations of alcoholism; sharing tools, and offering hope from those walking a similar path. We gather from diverse backgrounds, faiths, and locations to learn and support one another.     Here is a little bit about Nira F in her own words:

    Started in march 2025

    • The psychic change was quick for me.
    • Fully surrendering to the suggestion and the process of the 12 steps was the last piece of the jigsaw puzzle for me.
    • I have six sponsees already and One finished his 12steps.
    • I Work full time and am a mother to a 11year old boy. So if we want it we find the time.
    • I lost 10kg since I started the12 steps

    Reco12 Afro-Euro Timezone is a Reco12 Resource in and for the Afro-Euro time zone hosted by Karen A.     Lisa S. is a recovered Alcoholic/addict of many things. Lisa’s life was full of empty Promises, but Today the Promises in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous have ALL come true. She has now tapped a source of Power much greater than herself, greater than people, greater than places and greater than things. Lisa can see that she has never had it so good. Lisa sees herself as a miracle.
