    The Rice Purity Test was originated and developed at Rice University in Houston, Texas, as a way for students to share their life experiences. The test consists of a series of 100 questions about different activities, ranging from the innocent to the risqué. Each "yes" answer deducts points from your score, which starts at 100, making a lower score indicate a less "pure" past. As you can hear, the questions vary greatly, covering topics from holding hands to more intimate experiences. The test is meant to be fun and lighthearted, a way for students to reflect on their experiences and perhaps even laugh about them.

    But the Rice Purity Test isn’t just a fun game. It’s also a snapshot of cultural norms and attitudes towards certain behaviors. Over the years, it has sparked conversations about peer pressure, personal boundaries, and societal expectations. Yet all these conversations and criticism could never dim the popularity of the quiz.
