God gave me a word for August, and it came with an assignment.

"August, oh August, what will you do with the August I have given you? If you are willing to invest deep in the stock market of My Spirit in August, the dividend you reap will be great."

In this teaching I walk through the four things the Lord said to invest in this month, and why the greatest return you can reap is not an easier season or a bigger breakthrough. The dividend is more of God Himself.

Four ways to invest in the Spirit this August:

1. Study of the Word
2. Honest heart inspection
3. Getting rid of lies you have believed
4. Fasting for fragrance, learning to fast to know Him and not just to get something from Him

We stay in Scripture the whole way, from Hebrews 11:6 and Jeremiah 29:13 to Psalm 139, John 8, and the fragrance Mary poured out on Jesus in John 12. If you want your August to actually count, this one is for you.
