  • Hebrews 12:1-2 - Responding to Troubled Times
    2026/06/11

This week we’re diving into Hebrews 12:1–2 and asking a question many believers wrestle with: How should the church respond to troubled times? In a world marked by disaster, disease, violence, suffering, and the ongoing effects of sin, God’s Word reminds us that these struggles are not new. More importantly, it shows us how we are to respond.

Together we’ll consider four biblical responses found in Hebrews 12: Remember the faithfulness of God throughout history, Repent of the sin that hinders our walk, Redirect our eyes to Jesus, and Rejoice in the hope of the gospel. As we look to Christ—the founder and perfecter of our faith—we are reminded that He reigns sovereignly over all things and that nothing can separate His people from His love.

  • 1 Corinthians 15:1-2 – A Gospel Reminder
    2026/05/31

In 1 Corinthians 15:1-2, the Apostle Paul reminds believers of the Gospel they had already heard, believed, and stood upon. Why would Christians need to be reminded of the Gospel? Because, like a compass guiding a ship through a storm, the Gospel continually reorients our hearts and lives in a world that is difficult to navigate.

In this message, we walk through the foundational truths of the Gospel by considering the character of God, the sinfulness of man, and the sufficiency of Christ. From the opening chapters of Genesis to the saving work of Jesus Christ, we are reminded that the Gospel is not merely the message that saves us—it is the message that sustains us.

Whether you are hearing these truths for the first time or the thousandth, may this Gospel reminder strengthen your faith, deepen your worship, and point you once again to the hope found in Christ alone.

  • 1 Peter 2:9-12 - The Glory and Growth of Our Salvation
    2026/03/08

In this episode we turn to 1 Peter 2:9–12 and consider both the glory and the growth of our salvation. Peter reminds believers of the dramatic change the gospel brings into our lives. In Christ we are no longer what we once were—we have become a chosen people, a royal priesthood, and a people belonging to God.

These verses call us to pause and reflect on the mercy we have received. Once we stood condemned in our sins, but now we have received mercy through Christ. That reality changes everything about who we are and why we live.

Yet Peter does not only remind us of what we have received; he also calls us to grow. Because we belong to God, we are to abstain from the passions of the flesh and live honorable lives that reflect the work Christ has done in us.

Join me as we reflect on the glory of what God has done and the growth He calls us to pursue. Let’s dig into God’s Word and look to Jesus, our true hope.
