Today's prayer of REST is based on Jude 1:24-25: 24: "To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy—to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen."

This season, we’re asking God to restore to us the joy of our salvation, and each week we’ll base our prayers on a different Bible passage that speaks of joy. Together, we’ll ask the Lord to do a new work in our hearts as we:

• Recite God’s Goodness
• Express Our Neediness
• Seek His Stillness, and
• Trust His Faithfulness

What comes to mind when you think about walking with God? Throughout history, God has always desired companionship and friendship with the humans He created in His own image. I like to picture this dynamic of friendship and obedience as Walking with God. Every email, every conference call, every meal prepped, every floor swept has the capacity to hold divine purpose because we are divinely indwelled by God’s own Spirit. Even when sin marred humans’ relationship with God, He remained undeterred in His desire to walk with us.When we truly understand the privilege of walking with God in our daily lives, our mundane becomes contoured by the divine. Let’s turn to the example of Jesus to learn from Him how to joyfully walk with God. Listen in!
