Transformation into a better “you” is a process. It doesn’t happen over night. To be transformed, you must first submit yourself to God. When you are in a true intimate relationship with the Lord, transformation is inevitable. Reading the Bible and praying daily will cause a renewal of your mind, in which God begins to change you from the inside out. He will take the old worldly desires of yours and trade them for His heavenly desires, and before you know it, you’re a completely new person! Just like a caterpillar becomes a butterfly; it’s a process and the end result is beautiful. If we are to be the light in the darkness and see this world won to Jesus Christ, it requires us being transformed. We cannot remain the same and expect anything to in our lives to change. If you want to be a carrier of God’s fire and power, it starts with being transformed!

Revival is here! Have you heard the term “revival” being mentioned a lot lately? That’s because God is truly pouring out His spirit on all flesh just like He promised would happen in the last days in the book of Acts. We are seeing it take place right before our eyes! People are hungry to know God and to learn about His word, the Bible. There is a stirring of people’s hearts by the Holy Spirit to draw mankind close to the Father in heaven. What does that mean for us? It means we have a part to play! We are called to jump into action and not just be spectators. It’s our job to facilitate the moving of God’s spirit on the earth and catapult revival. How do we do that? We simply tell people about Jesus in our every day lives and let them know how much God loves them and has a plan for their life. We invite them to church or bible study. We show the love and light of Christ to everyone around us. We be obedient to what God is telling us to do. That is what wins this world for Jesus!

Marriage is a blessing to experience! It’s a beautiful covenant relationship between man and woman that God designed since Adam and Eve. Being married and getting to enjoy life with your forever partner is truly a joy. Marriage however comes with its challenges as two imperfect people are becoming one. It’s so important as women that we understand our role in marriage and who God has called us to be to our husbands. Men and women are each created with their own unique characteristics and traits that can be very different from one another, and that’s a good thing! We have to learn how to fulfill our role as wives based on God’s word and how to love and respect our husband’s role at the same time. Getting a revelation of who we are in Christ as women and wives, and also understanding who our husbands are called to be will change the game for marriage!

Through real life experience with our own littles, we have learned a lot in just a short couple of years. From dealing with sleep deprivation, sleep training your baby, postpartum depression to breastfeeding-we talk about it all in this episode. Our desire is to encourage and inspire by bringing some insight to real life situations you may face as a new mom.

As a mom, we want what’s best for our kids. As a wife, we want to see our husbands thriving. We want it so much for our family that oftentimes we end up taking the place of the Holy Spirit by assuming control ourselves. It’s vital that we as believers understand that the Holy Spirit is the only one who can do his job. Even at a young age, the Holy Spirit is fully capable of speaking to your children. There’s no such thing as a “junior Holy Spirit”. Our children are able to listen to the voice of the Lord no matter how young or old they are. We have to work on our willingness to trust the Lord and His plans for both ourselves and our family. God knows what is best and He loves our family even more than we do! Don’t get it twisted thinking you can step in and be the Holy Spirit, convicting, leading and guiding someone else. Allow the Holy Spirit to do what he does best and watch as the Lord works it all out in your favor!

Dealing with “mom guilt” is something we as mothers have all faced at same point in time. Am I doing enough? Am I a good mom? Are my kids really getting the best from me? These are all questions that can spiral out of control in our heads and in our lives if not dealt with. We can get stuck in a cycle of guilt and shame, where we are constantly being hard on ourselves. It is often times from comparison to others which we were never meant to do to begin with! Understanding that God has created you uniquely and has purposely set you apart for your children and home, unlocks the key to breaking out of the toxic guilt and shame cycle.
