Before excelling in the world of the culinary arts; Rita studied psychology and graduated from the University of Dallas after which she worked in the corporate world for almost 9 years before pursuing her interest and passion by first taking an entrepreneurial dive into a food start-up (Sweet Fix by Rita) and then ultimately stepping into her well-deserved place in the professional kitchen as Head Chef at the Dubai Local gem: Maisan15.
