    LAN LAW
Lan Law is a country‐rock duo made up of Arkansas-born brothers Lance Curtis (guitar, vocals) and Lawson Wayne (drums/percussion, backup vocals). Lance began playing guitar and piano by age 9, inspired by country legends like Alan Jackson and Johnny Cash, while Lawson joined in during his teens—initially jamming on car seats and cajóns before formally joining as a full‐time collaborator.

They took their name from the first three letters of their first names—LAN from Lance and LAW from Lawson—and officially formed Lan Law around 2020. That same year, they signed with Dolly Parton’s producer Kent Wells and worked with Grammy-winning producers like Jamie Tate. Their music blends modern country hooks with honky-tonk, southern rock swagger, often highlighting their tight harmonies and high‑energy stage presence.

They’ve toured extensively across the South and beyond, opening for artists such as Collin Raye, Gene Watson, Craig Campbell, FOZZY, and even performing at stadium shows like Jacksonville’s TIAA Bank Field. Their viral hit singles—like “Country to the Bone”(30 million+ views and radio play) and “Hillbilly Legal”—have cemented their reputation as a rising force in country music.

“Hillbilly Legal” is a self‑produced anthem celebrating rural pride, faith, and outlaw spirit—complete with a DIY video made with their parents—earning attention from music blogs and fans alike . Their parents remain central to their operation, handling everything from management and booking to videography and merch.

Today, Lan Law continues to tour frequently (with upcoming gigs throughout the South and Midwest), record new music in Nashville, and carve out their niche as an authentic, family‑driven act with traditional roots and modern energy.

  • Podunk Perspective #17 - Joe Bryson
    2025/06/30

    Podunk Perspective

    Hosted By Seth Packan
Shot in Nashville, TN. Produced by Nolan Sritan Photo.

    Joe Bryson
Joe Bryson is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter originally from Lafayette, Louisiana. He caught the music bug at age 10 after seeing a rockstar biopic and formed his first band soon after. While in high school, he released his debut single, “She Don’t Really Miss Me,” which has since earned over 1.5 million Spotify streams.

After releasing follow-up tracks like “We Were Made for the Night” and “’Til the Sand Ran Out”, Joe began performing locally—and during this time was diagnosed with stage 3 papillary thyroid cancer that had spread to his lymph nodes . The surgery threatened his voice, but he made a strong recovery and continued building his musical career through college, playing sold-out shows at venues like Baton Rouge’s Varsity Theatre and joining tailgate tours with Old Row, opening for acts like Stop Light Observation and Trinidad James.

In October 2019, he released “Already Love You,” co-written with hitmakers Brock Berryhill and Josh Jenkins, and continued to release music through 2020, including “If I Loved You Then,” which landed on Spotify playlists like New Music Nashville during the pandemic . That summer, he made the move to Nashville in a U‑Haul, determined to chase the next stage of his musical journey.

Joe describes his evolving sound as “kitchen‑sink‑country”—a blend of soul, rock ’n’ roll, and everything but the kitchen sink. Drawing from his faith, Cajun roots, and the trials he’s overcome, he writes songs that aim to heal, uplift, and entertain.

At just in his early twenties, Joe has already faced and conquered more than most—and his story is only beginning. He’s been steadily releasing new music and performing shows with a heartfelt voice shaped by real life—and a dream that’s just warming up.

    Podunk Perspective

    Hosted By Seth Packan
Shot in Nashville, TN. Produced by Nolan Sritan Photo.

    Dylan Wolff
Hailing from the rugged Arizona desert, Dylan Wolff packed up his grit and dreams and rode into Nashville in 2018 to chase the true sound of country music. With raw, weathered vocals and a rebellious spirit, Dylan blends the soul of outlaw country with a tip of the hat to his classic country roots. He's earned his place on stage with some of the finest songwriters in the business, including Jim Beavers, Don Sampson, Buddy Owens, Marla Cannon-Goodman, and Mark Nesler, carving his path one song at a time. Dylan’s inspiration for his songs comes from his experience cutting his teeth on stages across the nation- from back home in Arizona, to Texas, Illinois, Michigan, and of course, his new home, Tennessee. After dropping his debut single "New Bar" in 2023, followed by the introspective "Ain’t My Home" in 2024, Dylan released his fan-favorite single, "Handyman", in February 2025. Go check out his latest single "Prom Dress" —proof that this desert cowboy’s journey is just getting started.
