このコンテンツについて
Hey, KISS fans! Mark your calendars—Peter Criss’s new self-titled solo album drops December 19, 2025, and it’ll hit Spotify the same day, thanks to Flatiron Music Distribution. As an indie release, expect that Catman energy on streaming platforms right at launch. I also discuss the four original solo albums by Gene, Paul, Peter, and Ace (RIP), my brand new CD and more.
Back on point, born in Brooklyn in 1945, Peter Criss co-founded KISS in 1973 as the Catman—drummer and soulful vocalist behind hits like "Beth," "Black Diamond," and "Hard Luck Woman." After leaving in 1980, he rejoined for reunions, battling personal demons before retiring in 2004. Now 79, his rock-driven self-titled solo album drops December 19, featuring guitar wizard John 5(!), bass powerhouse Billy Sheehan, and keys maestro Paul Shaffer—proving the Catman's claws are still sharp!
Musicians on Peter Criss's New Album
John 5 (guitar), Billy Sheehan (bass), and Paul Shaffer (keys), the self-titled album features:
Mike McLaughlin (guitar) – A longtime collaborator with Criss
Matthew Montgomery (aka Piggy D.) (bass) – From Rob Zombie
Barry Pointer Co-producer with credits on Ozzy Osbourne and Mötley Crüe.
Sounds like a great team. Have you heard the first single yet? I like it. Let me know what you think.
