In this episode, Paul Aubert shares how a 26,000 mile journey in a converted school bus led to the creation of Noovo, a Class B camper van company. He reflects on transforming a 1994 school bus into a hotel on wheels, traveling through 16 countries and the unforgettable people and challenges he encountered along the way.
Paul also discusses how the pandemic forced the company to pivot from guided road trips to camper van manufacturing, why Noovo focuses on craftsmanship, technology, customer support, and community, and what the company has planned for its upcoming AWD Sprinter van conversion.
Episode Guest
Paul Aubert is the Co-Founder and Head of Sales at Noovo, originally from France and now based in Las Vegas, NV.
Noovo was born out of a bold idea Paul and his co-founders tested firsthand—converting an old school bus named “Natasha” into a mobile hostel and traveling over 29,000 miles through 16 countries in Latin and South America. Along the way, they hosted more than 100 travelers, gaining invaluable insight into what people truly want from life on the road.
That journey laid the foundation for Noovo’s mission: to create beautifully designed camper vans that offer all the comforts of home, built for everyday adventurers.
