Peace isn't something you feel because you did something —

it's always there, underneath everything.

That's the idea behind this song.

Being true to yourself. Choosing your own path, your own colors,

your own choices — that's what peace and happiness are made of.

This is a belief that comes from my own experience.

And it's why I tell my children: not "listen to your parents,"

but listen to your own senses.
