概要
Let’s talk about healthcare
The thing we’re required to pay for, even when we can’t afford to use it. Ya, that nonsense.
In this episode, I break down the insanity of paying hundreds (or thousands) a month for insurance that actively discourages care. Copays we can’t afford. Medications we qualify for but get denied. Endless hoops, prior authorizations, appeals, and paperwork — all while we’re sick, exhausted, and running out of patience.
We talk about:
why insurance feels more like a deterrent than protection
being insured and still afraid to see a doctor
denial by default and “try and fail first” medicine
paying into a system you can’t opt out of
and how everyone knows this is broken — yet nothing changes
This isn’t about politics or luxury care.
It’s about dignity.
It’s about survival.
It’s about being forced to pay to stay sick.
If you’ve ever avoided the doctor because of cost — even with insurance — you’re not alone.
