  • The Devouring Forest
    2026/06/09

Seven scientists have been assigned to Carbon Removal Outpost Alpha-3, deep in the Colombian mangroves. Seven scientists have died there.

Darya Abtahi knows this. She requested the posting anyway.

Told through recovered footage, daily logs and a bureaucratic investigation that nobody really wants to finish, The Devouring Forest is a story about grief, about the outposts humanity builds at the edge of the world - and about what the forest takes when you stop paying attention.

  • Gears of Breath
    2026/06/08

The Air Cathedral sits high above the Two Air Basin, pulling carbon from the sky. The city on the hill owns it. The people in the valley below depend on it.

Today is the hottest day of the year, and at two o'clock the basin votes.

Gears of Breath is a story about who controls the machine - and who pays when the numbers have to look right.

  • Beachcombers
    2026/06/08

Mari and Zaid live inside the city walls, scavenging the beach for anything worth selling - good-grade plastic, amber, metal they can trade. Outside the walls, they've always been told, the air will kill you.

Then Zaid finds something in the sand. A device stamped with an outsider language. Old man Harun says it's the most important thing the children have ever touched. Mari says Harun is mad.

Beachcombers is a story about what people are told to keep them in place - and what happens when a child picks up the wrong piece of the past.

  • The Song of Mhorra
    2026/06/07

On an island off the west coast of Scotland, a child is looking for their Grandda. He's been hearing things - a song, coming up from the water where the government's new algae tanks hum in the strait between the island and the mainland.

The Song of Mhorra is a story about what we hear when the sea starts to change - and what some people are willing to believe.

  • Pathways: An Introduction
    2026/06/06

Pathways is an anthology audio drama about the futures we build. Different stories, different possible worlds, each one shaped by a different vision of how humanity responded to the climate crisis.

From a walled coastal city where children scavenge for contraband technology, to a Colombian mangrove where scientists disappear without explanation, to a Scottish island at the edge of the world.

The technologies you'll hear about in these stories - direct air capture, rewilded forests, the chemistry of rock and soil - are real, and already running. But the science doesn't tell you who benefits, who pays, and what it actually feels like to live inside the result.
