Paige Birgfeld seemed like the perfect mom - running dance studios, selling cookware, raising three kids on her own in Grand Junction, Colorado. But behind the scenes, she was hiding a dangerous secret that would ultimately cost her everything.
In June 2007, 34-year-old Paige disappeared after meeting her ex-husband for a romantic picnic. When her car was found burned in an industrial lot, investigators uncovered a double life nobody saw coming - Paige had been working as an escort under the name "Carrie" to pay her $6,000 monthly mortgage.
The investigation led police to Lester Jones, a violent ex-convict who worked at an RV shop near where Paige's car was torched. But without a body, prosecutors couldn't make their case stick. It would take five long years before a hiker discovered human remains that would finally bring justice for Paige and her three children.
