In this episode of the Tafseer series, Shaykh Dr. Aḥsan Hanif explains verses 100–110 of Surah Al-Kahf, where Allah ﷻ brings the Surah to a powerful conclusion with reminders of the Hereafter, accountability, and sincerity. Allah ﷻ describes the disbelievers whose hearts were covered from His remembrance and who turned away from guidance. They are shown the reality of Hell and warned against taking others as protectors besides Allah. These verses also speak of the greatest losers: those whose efforts are wasted in worldly life while they believe they are doing good. Their deeds carry no weight on the Day of Resurrection because they rejected Allah’s signs and the meeting with Him. In contrast, those who believe and do righteous deeds are promised Jannatul-Firdaws as an eternal home. Allah ﷻ then reminds us that His words and wisdom are endless, beyond what the oceans could contain as ink. The Surah ends with a clear call to Tawḥīd: whoever hopes to meet Allah should do righteous deeds and worship Him alone. These verses teach us that true success is found in sincere faith, righteous action, and living with the meeting of Allah ﷻ in mind.
