What emotions or unresolved pain could have influenced their behavior? We often forget that hurt people hurt people; their actions usually reflect what is happening within them, not who you are.

When we pause to understand their side of the story, we remove the fog of assumption and begin to see the situation with greater compassion and insight. This step opens the door to healing and a more grounded path toward forgiveness.
