That sparked a bigger question...

Where does privacy end... and pride begin?

If you're willing to share something with the world, should your spouse have heard it first?

Marriage is a partnership... so why do some people operate like sole proprietors?

Are there decisions that belong to just you? Or once you say "I do," do certain conversations automatically become "we" conversations?

Then we went even deeper...

Where does transparency end and secrecy begin?

How far back does transparency go? Is your partner entitled to know everything about your past, or are there some chapters that don't need to be reopened?

When someone says, "That's private," are they protecting their peace... or protecting themselves from accountability?

Maybe the bigger question isn't whether you have a right to privacy.

Maybe it's this: Can a partnership truly thrive if one person is carrying information the other never gets the chance to hold?
