Many visitors report encounters with the spirits of former inmates and guards, including the ghostly apparitions of Rosie, a female guard, and a mysterious guard peering out from the museum's window. From shadow figures in the cellblocks to unexplained cold spots and swinging doors in the gift shop, the Cripple Creek Jail is believed to be haunted by the echoes of its past.
