In this episode of ‘The Frequency Formula’ I’m sharing something that completely shifted the way I see healing. We’re talking about our unique sound expression and why so many of us have learned to hold it back. Have you ever got to a point where you understand yourself so well… you can explain your patterns, your triggers, your behaviours, but you still don’t feel regulated? I open up about that experience and the frustration of knowing so much, but still feeling stuck, and how I realised I was trying to heal everything from my mind while leaving my body out of it. We move into vocal stimming, the urge to hum, shout, make noise, and why it’s actually such a natural and instinctive way for the body to release and process emotion. I also talk about nervous system sensitivity, why some of us feel things more intensely, and how reconnecting with the body can start to change that. I then explore what it really means when we say the body stores trauma, bringing in both neuroscience and a more holistic perspective, so you can start to understand what’s happening beneath the surface in your own experience. At the end of the episode, I guide you through a gentle somatic practice to help you connect back to your body, tune into what it’s holding, and begin to release it in a way that feels natural for you.
