概要
Episode 2 of Podcast: Building Dreams for the Future with Youth
Achieving Moonshots with Youth, Tech, Entrepreneurship, and Collaboration with cross sector leaders
“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”
Heidi Cuppari, host of a new podcast featuring global youth social innovators and entrepreneurs who are chasing their dreams and creating solutions for a better world. The second episode features Eric Auguste, a first generation American whose parents were born in Haiti and Puerto Rico and a sophomore at Brown University. Heidi, a Brown Alumni, interviews Eric after a winter internship program at Brown, who is building a survival game within Island17.io, a metaverse problem-solving game to implement youth solutions for a better future. Eric chose the MLK quote to discuss at the start of the episode, and shares his experience engaging in a project utilizing Restorative Justice with a Chicago police chief in high school, building his own computer and falling in love with computer science, and declares his own “I Have a Dream'' mini-speech honoring Dr. King and what we’re dubbing “MLK Month.”
