- What does this mean for La Vega to finally make history — to win a state title in soccer after winning in so many other sports like football, basketball and track & field?
- Let's talk softball, where the playoffs start next week. Central Texas always lots of contenders, and among those ranked in the polls are Bremond, West, China Spring, Lake Belton and Midway. Is it surprising not to see certain familiar names listed, like Robinson, Crawford, Jonesboro?
- For softball teams in Texas, do you need more than one ace to win a state title? Or can you still roll one pitcher out there every game?
- Over the next six weeks or so, we'll have UIL and TAPPS events in golf, tennis, track & field, softball and baseball. With those and all the other sports which have finished up their seasons so far, what's your favorite state championship event to cover during the school year?
