  • S2 E4 The Female Nervous System and Conscious Breathwork w/ Eve Mcnaghten: The Rise of the Parasympathetic
    2025/09/11

In this episode, Reign is joined by breathwork facilitator Eve McNaghten for a deep dive into the female nervous system, menstrual cycles, and the transformative power of conscious connected breathwork. Eve shares her journey of coming off the pill, healing early menstrual trauma, and discovering how breathwork can both nurture and destabilize depending on a woman’s cycle and the method used.

    Together, they explore:

    • Why women need a cyclical approach to breathwork

    • How trauma lives in the body and can be released through breath

    • The role of hormones in shaping stress and emotional responses

    • The impact of cycle awareness on relationships and intimacy

    • Wider reflections on culture, patriarchy, and our disconnection from the body

This conversation is raw, honest, and full of insight into what it means to reclaim the wisdom of the body and live more fully in tune with our cycles.

  • S2 E2: Shit Sandwiches & “New Cages” with Tony Sayers of Transcending Times
    2025/08/21

In my latest conversation with self-proclaimed shit-sandwich peddler Tony from TranscendingTimes.org, we got into why he calls himself a shit sandwich purveyor — because the truths he shares aren’t sweet or easy to swallow, but they’re what he sees as necessary.

He argues that what’s often called the “new age” is really a “new cage”. Things like yoga retreats, ayahuasca ceremonies, men’s circles, and full-moon rituals aren’t just distractions — they’re sedation. They pacify people into thinking they’re “awakening,” while in reality, they’re being lulled back to sleep.

For Tony, this isn’t harmless. He believes it makes you more vulnerable to being recycled right back into the “soul-cycle” after death — stuck in the same loop, never breaking free.

So what’s the alternative? To engage fully with life here and now: work, create, revolt, take responsibility, build something real. That’s the point of being human, he says — to resist passivity and take up your actual role in the matrix of life.
