このコンテンツについて

On the Table is your go-to for thought-provoking and honest conversations that challenge conventional thinking, inspire faithful exploration, and offer a fresh perspective on subjects often unexplored and questions frequently left unanswered. We’re not afraid to tackle the tough, taboo topics that others shy away from. If you’re ready for honest dialogue and fresh inspiration, pull up a seat and join the conversation. Our discussions are unscripted and passionate. We are not perfect, and sometimes we say things we would like to take back, but we leave it in the podcast because we want to be transparent, authentic, and model to our listeners that we believe we are truly in God's grace, not restrained by the pressure to perform. We encourage you to be like the Bereans in Acts 17 who took everything they heard back to scripture. Be like a Berean.

  • S3E5 Grace in the Lord’s Prayer
    2025/11/16

We’ve all recited the Lord’s Prayer - but have we really grasped its depth through the lens of grace? In this episode, the On the Table team unpacks what it means to hallow God’s name and to pray, “Lead us not into temptation.” We explore how God’s name is made holy in us not through our striving or perfection, but through His love and grace at work in our lives. Jesus, the true hero, was led into temptation and overcame it on our behalf. His victory is ours, and as we rest in Him, His name is glorified in us.

  • S3E4 Be Holy? Understanding 1 Peter Through the Lens of Grace
    2025/11/02

In this episode, the On the Table crew unpacks 1 Peter — Scripture often used to tell believers to “try harder.” But is that really what Peter meant? We look at how translation, context, and grace all intersect in this exhortation to “be holy.” Spoiler: holiness isn’t about striving in the flesh — it’s about walking in the Spirit and living from what Jesus has already made true of us.
