    This podcast episode takes the listener on a journey as Simon Adler joins Dr. Rushton to discuss a project exploring a potential future without nurses. Simon spent a decade developing and producing sound design stories for Radiolab and is now an independent writer/producer. In a new collaboration between the R3 team and the iDeas Lab at the Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics, Simon wrote and produced an audio documentary transporting listeners into a dystopian experience using immersive sound design to explore this potential new world and ultimately serve as a call to action. Listen in as Dr. Rushton and Simon discuss their experience in producing the audio documentary, and how they hope that it might be used to explore the future of healthcare and reframe the nursing narrative in this not-so-distant future, all while preserving humanity in the process.
