  • UFOs, UAPs & Aliens: Would You Still Go to Work If They Landed?
    2026/06/10

In this episode of On the Mic with Joe Cee, Carlos and I have a fun, curious, and slightly ridiculous conversation about UFOs, UAPs, aliens, government disclosure, and what we would actually do if aliens showed up tomorrow.

With recent UAP files and videos being released by the U.S. government, we wanted to ask the questions regular people actually think about:

Are UFOs real? Is the government slowly preparing us for disclosure? Are aliens already here? Would we still go to work if they landed? Could they be hiding deep in the ocean? And most importantly… what do aliens eat?

We also talk about The Age of Disclosure documentary, the difference between UFOs and UAPs, the Mariana Trench, AI as a possible future threat, Jon Jones fighting an alien, and why humanity might just keep going to work no matter what happens.

This episode is not about claiming we have all the answers. It’s about curiosity, skepticism, comedy, and two friends trying to make sense of one of the weirdest topics in the world.

  • Entrepreneur vs Business Owner vs Self-Employed | What’s the Real Difference?
    2026/05/27

Everyone calls themselves an entrepreneur now, but what does that actually mean?

In this episode of On the Mic with Joe Cee, Joe sits down with co-host Carlos Gonzalez for a relaxed but honest conversation about entrepreneurship, small business ownership, self-employment, and what it really takes to build something of your own.

They talk about the difference between owning a business and actually operating like an entrepreneur, the reality of booth rent in the barber industry, customer acquisition, work ethic, systems, leadership, money management, taxes, risk, and the side of business ownership that people do not always see online.

Joe shares lessons from owning The Original Clip Joint Barbershop, including building shop culture, creating systems, managing people, learning from mistakes, and understanding that good work alone is not always enough to grow a business.

Carlos also shares his experience building Anteater Home Solutions, a company that helps new homeowners simplify the process of setting up home services, and how creating value, building relationships, and taking risks have shaped his own view of entrepreneurship.

In this episode, we talk about:

    • Entrepreneur vs business owner vs self-employed

    • Why having a title in your bio does not automatically make you an entrepreneur

    • The truth about booth rent and barber business ownership

    • Why slow time should become client acquisition time

    • How systems allow a business to run without you always being there

    • The hidden stress, risk, and responsibility behind business ownership

    • Taxes, money management, and lessons learned the hard way

    • Work ethic, customer service, leadership, and building real business value

    • Why culture matters in a barbershop and in any small business

    • The difference between posting like an entrepreneur and operating like one

  • Would You Trust a Robot to Care for Your Mom?
    2026/04/03

We’ve all seen how fast technology is moving… but what happens when it hits something this personal?

In this episode, Carlos and I dive into a real conversation about the future of caregiving and whether robots could one day help take care of our parents… or even us.

I share what it’s been like watching my mom care for my 92-year-old grandma for the past 10 years, and we ask some real questions:

    • Would you trust a robot to help care for your mom or dad?

    • Does technology bring families closer… or create more distance?

    • What happens when the largest aging population in history needs help?

    • Is this the solution… or the beginning of a bigger problem? This isn’t just about AI. It’s about family, responsibility, and the future we’re all walking into.

  • Busy vs Productive: Why You Feel Busy But Get Nothing Done
    2026/03/18

You’re not as productive as you think… you’re just busy. There’s a difference—and it’s probably why you feel stuck. We’ve all said it… “I’ve been busy.” But at the end of the day, did we actually move forward? In this episode, Carlos and I break down the real difference between being busy and being productive—and why a lot of us stay stuck even though our schedules are full. We talk about: • Why staying “busy” can feel productive (but isn’t) • The rocks, pebbles, and sand analogy for prioritizing your life • Chasing “squirrels” and getting pulled away from what actually matters • The role of accountability and why some of us struggle without it • How to take control of your time instead of reacting to your day This isn’t about having a perfect schedule… It’s about being intentional with your time and your life. 🎥 Referenced in this episode: The “Rocks, Pebbles, and Sand” analogy (We mentioned the video—check it out here) 👉 https://youtube.com/shorts/vfFwmBXB3Ds?si=OKgBVsWXhlzySKVf 💬 Join the conversation: If you’ve found something that helps you stay focused, organized, or productive—drop it in the comments or DM me. • Is Mexico Really “On Fire”… Or Are We Being Fed Fear? Cartels, Truth & Perspective
    2026/03/07

Welcome back to On The Mic with Joe Cee. In this episode, Joe and co-host Carlos dive into a conversation that started with a simple question: Is Mexico really as dangerous as the internet makes it seem… or are we watching an algorithm amplify fear? After seeing viral videos of airport chaos, cartel violence, and social media clips claiming “Mexico is on fire,” Joe and Carlos decided not to react immediately. Instead, they waited, researched, reflected, and brought the conversation to the podcast. What followed was an honest and sometimes uncomfortable dialogue about: • Cartel violence and how real it is for the people living through it • How social media algorithms can distort reality • The difference between perception and lived experience • Why many tourists still travel safely throughout Mexico • The war on cartels that began in 2006 under President Felipe Calderón • The controversial anti-gang crackdown in El Salvador under President Nayib Bukele • The role of tourism in Mexico’s economy • And the bigger question: what would it actually take to fix the problem? This episode isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about something that feels rare today: Two people having an honest conversation about complicated issues without needing to hate each other at the end. If you have a perspective, an experience, or information we should know about, we genuinely want to hear it. Leave a comment, send us a message, or share your thoughts.
