When a moment doesn’t unfold the way an athlete dreamed, the weight of it can linger for years, even when the rest of the world has already moved on. Today on Rock Stars, we reflect on the emotional roller coaster that comes with the Olympic Games. Watching the Games from the outside brought back powerful memories for us as former competitors, reminding us of how much work and hope goes into chasing a single Olympic moment.
We also talk about the reality behind social media criticism, and why it can be so difficult for athletes to hear people judging performances without understanding what it truly takes to get there. For us, the Olympics will always be about more than medals. It’s about courage, effort, and the incredible achievement of simply standing on that stage as an Olympian.
