In this movie, Santa is over the commercialisation of Christmas, so much so that he runs away to New Zealand and crashes a family's summer camping holiday. Our journey through the Riddick trilogy has been a fun one! We both enjoyed the first two movies, so hopefully Vin Diesel's 2013 sci-fi film can bring the entire adventure home. In this film, the series returns to its action-horror roots as we find Richard B. Riddick stuck on another dangerous planet with a new bunch of mercenaries. There are gory kills, there are cheesy one-liners, and there's even an alien dog!

Over the next three weeks, the boys are going to be checking out the entire Riddick trilogy. The first stop on this adventure is the 2000 film Pitch Black. Directed by David Twohy and introducing Vin Diesel as Richard B. Riddick, this sci-fi horror throws a bunch of characters on a dangerous planet to see who survives. It's also filmed in South Australia and features heaps of Aussie actors, including Claudia Black as a character called Shazza! It's like we were born to review this movie.
