If you’re like me you’re constantly on the lookout for ways to improve your business. For me this includes a habit of analyzing every business I ever walk into for what works and doesn’t work from the perspective of a customer. I’ve gotten so many good ideas simply by watching what other businesses do for their customers. On the flip side of that I also observe what other businesses do, either knowingly or unknowingly, to alienate or drive away their customers. That’s our topic today!

This time of year is a great time to test your business systems. Your systems form the structure of your business and are made up of people (both employees and clients), procedures, policies and some technology. You work with these systems everyday but nothing stays constant. People change, procedures change and tech changes. Consequently, it’s a great idea to test the systems once a year to make sure they are still working optimally. That’s our topic today!
