Notes:
1. Obedience- Greek definition- Ὑπακοή — Hypakoē
Pronounced: hoo-pak-oh-ay
It comes from two Greek words:
● hypo (ὑπό) — “under”
● akouō (ἀκούω) — “to hear,” “to listen”
So, literally, hypakoē carries the idea of “hearing under” or “listening under authority.”

o James 1:22-25 (NKJV)

o James 1:22-25 (MSG)

o Romans 16:17-20 (NKJV)

3. Sacrifice: Greek definition: The Greek word for "sacrifice" is θυσία (thusia).
The term θυσία (thusia) originates from the verb θύω (thuo), meaning "to offer" or "to sacrifice," and it refers both to the act of sacrifice and the sacrificial offering itself in literal or figurative contexts.

4. Protecting the Standard requires sacrifice

o Romans 12:1-2 (NKJV)

7. God doesn’t judge you by what He hears… He will judge you by what he knows.
