In Jeremiah 29, God spoke to His people while they were living as exiles in a foreign land, calling them to seek the good of the place where He had planted them without losing sight of their true hope in Him. We are to engage our culture with gratitude, conviction, and love, serving our communities faithfully while remembering that no earthly nation is our final home—our lasting hope rests in King Jesus and His eternal kingdom.

Few things are more discouraging than watching carefully laid plans unravel or facing seasons of unexpected hardship. In those moments, it is easy to wonder if God is still at work or if suffering has somehow interrupted His purposes. Yet throughout Scripture, we see that God often accomplishes His greatest work through circumstances that appear to be setbacks.
