Nonprofit Money Map
Where your mission meets its million-dollar potential.

You’re here because you’re building something bigger than yourself.
You’re here because your mission matters.
And you’re here because—deep down—you know you’re meant to expand.

This is the podcast that gives you the roadmap to abundance, unstoppable impact, and funding that actually flows. This isn’t another conversation about nonprofits.
This is where leaders rise. Where you get seen, supported, and resourced at the level your vision deserves.

Each episode spotlights a real nonprofit doing world-changing work.
And the twist is...
Every sponsorship dollar from that episode goes directly to the nonprofit we feature.

Nonprofit Money Map isn’t just a podcast.
It’s your invitation to step into the next chapter of your mission...
the abundant one.Copyright Robin Berlinsky

  • Molly Smith with Beyond BASIC Life Skills
    2025/12/01
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not.” Dr. Seuss.

Molly Smith is a former music therapist who stumbled into this beautiful nonproift by sheer chance. She is the co-founder and co-executive director of Beyond BASIC Life Skills along with Ashton Johnson whose sister is the inspiration behind the mission.

Beyond BASIC assists people with intellectual disabilities, beginning at age 14, achieve fulfillment beyond the basics by developing independent living skills. Beyond BASIC is dedicated to empowering adults and adolescents with intellectual disabilities with a focus on fostering independence and personal fulfillment.

This is such a great episode and mission and we hope you will consider supporting Beyond BASIC by donating on their website or visiting their pottery studio at 410 N. Gum Street, Summerville, SC.

This is the funding opportunity we shared with Molly on the show: https://withfoundation.org/

And a huge thank you to today’s sponsor, 32 South Properties, a Charleston real estate team that leads with heart. Every dollar of their sponsorship goes directly to Beyond BASIC, helping Molly’s mission thrive. If you're thinking of buying or selling a home, check out my friends Terry & Tim Haas at 32 South Properties. They are masterful realtors who make buying and selling feel white-glove, seamless, and surprisingly fun.

  • Tina Hurley with Less Leg More Heart
    2025/11/24
At 27, Tina Hurley had it all; career, love, fitness...until a rare vascular disorder nearly took her mobility and, eventually, one of her legs.

Everyday life became a struggle, and hope felt out of reach. But Tina didn’t give up.

Through grit, community, and a fierce refusal to quit, she reclaimed her strength and her purpose. She founded Less Leg More Heart, a nonprofit helping amputees and trauma survivors through mentorship, medical advocacy, holistic care, and practical support—making sure the next person facing crisis never feels as alone as she did.

On this episode, we talk about resilience, transformation, and creating impact from tragedy. I also uncovered funding for Tina through the Max & Victoria Dreyfus Foundation, which awards grants from $1,000–$20,000 to nonprofits where a little support makes a huge difference. Requests for Fall 2026 are due May 11, 2026. If you're a nonprofit, check them out. This could be your next big win.

And a huge thank you to today’s sponsor, 32 South Properties, a Charleston real estate team that leads with heart. Every dollar of their sponsorship goes directly to Less Leg More Heart, helping Tina’s mission thrive. If you're thinking of buying or selling a home, check out my friends Terry & Tim Haas at 32 South Properties.
