Is anyone ever too far gone for God? A runaway prophet. A violent, pagan city. By every human measure, both were lost causes. God disagreed.
In Jonah 3, the word of the Lord comes to Jonah "a second time." God is a specialist in second chances — not just for Jonah, but for everyone. He recommissions His reluctant, flawed messenger and sends him into Nineveh, a city that seemed beyond saving. And when God's Word goes out, it does not return empty: the entire city — from the king down — turns to the Lord.
In this third message from the "Relentless Love" series, Pastor Ben Kuerth opens Jonah 3:1-10 to show us a God who seeks the lost — a God whose mercy has no borders, who uses imperfect people to carry His perfect Word, and whose message of hope reaches into the most unlikely places.
If God can restore a runaway prophet and rescue Nineveh, He can reach the person you've been praying for. He can reach you.
