Many phones still grant those rights to apps that no longer need them. One sentence on the risk is enough here because the real work is in the fix. Open your settings and review every entry that shows always-on location or microphone use. On iOS you tap Privacy and Security then Location Services followed by each listed app. On Android you head to Privacy then Permission manager and check both location and microphone sections. Remove the permission whenever the app does not require it for core tasks. This audit takes about fifteen minutes and you can finish it before the weekend ends.
