  • The Difference Between PRAYING TO GOD and PRAYING FROM GOD | Alvin Love III
    2026/09/01

Is it possible to pray every day and still miss what God is actually saying?

This week, Pastor Alvin closes out our "Wait on the Lord" series with a message titled "Intimate with God." Drawing from 1 Corinthians 2:14, 1 Corinthians 14:14, and Romans 8:26, he reminds us that Christianity is spiritual by nature, and real intimacy with God requires more than our natural understanding. There has to be a conversion, a shift from praying our will to praying His.

Using Peter's rebuke of Jesus in Matthew 16 as a picture, Pastor Alvin shows how soulish prayers, ones rooted in emotion, understanding, or willpower, can sound faithful and still miss what God is actually doing. This message challenges us to move past praying to God and into praying from Him, trading our need to understand for the deeper intimacy of being led by His Spirit (Romans 8:14-15).

How close are you to God? And how much are you willing to let Him lead?

    Scripture references:

    • 1 Corinthians 2:14
    • 1 Corinthians 14:14
    • Romans 8:26
    • Matthew 16:21-24
    • Romans 8:14-15

  • You Might Be Worshiping God for FREE | Alvin Love III
    2026/08/17

What does it actually look like to practice sacrificial worship?

This week, Pastor Alvin dives into the heart of biblical worship: sacrifice. Drawing from Romans 12:1 and John 4:23-24, he unpacks why worship was never meant to be convenient, and why God isn't asking for your leftovers. He's asking for everything.

Using the picture of a bank deposit, Pastor Alvin reminds us that God gave us His all, so it's only reasonable that He's asking for ours in return. This message challenges us to move past a Sunday morning routine and into a lifestyle of costly, sacrificial devotion. Because biblical worship was never about convenience. It's about what you're willing to give up.

How costly is your worship? How sacrificial is it? This week's word will make you ask yourself both.

    Scripture references:

    • Romans 12:1
    • John 4:23-24

  • Being Near God Isn't the Same as Knowing Him | Alvin Love III
    2026/08/25

Is being near God the same as actually knowing Him?

This week, Pastor Alvin closes out our 21 Days of Prayer series with a message titled "God In Us." Drawing from Romans 5:10 and Acts 2:17, he reminds us that God's desire has always been communion with us, not just His presence beside us, but His Spirit inside us.

Using the picture of a server tending to a table, Pastor Alvin shows how waiting on the Lord isn't passive. It's active investment, learning the heart and priorities of Jesus through prayer, prophecy, and healing. This message challenges us to move past a "God with us" faith and into the deeper intimacy of "God in us."

As we invest instead of coast, our desires start to align with His. And that's when day 22 stops looking like a finish line and starts looking like a starting line.

How close are you to God? And how much of Him is actually in you?

    Scripture references:

    • Romans 5:10
    • Acts 2:17
    • 1 Corinthians 14:4, 6
    • Mark 16:17-18
    • 2 Corinthians 5:20
    • Isaiah 40:31

  • The inconvenience of being Chosen | Pastor Alvin III
    2026/06/16
In this message, Pastor Alvin unpacks the Parable of the Talents and makes one thing clear: what God has given you isn't just for you. His power is His property, and He's entrusted it to us with a real expectation. Not a suggestion. An expectation. And how we steward what He's placed in us has eternal consequences. Drawing from Matthew 25, John 7, and more, Pastor Alvin challenges us to stop waiting for living waters to flow to us and start letting them flow from us. Because that's what true belief looks like. Faith isn't just what keeps us calm under pressure. It's what keeps us moving. And the power of the Holy Spirit is what makes the whole journey possible. So here's the question: Are you a fan of Jesus, or have you walked His path? • Spend It on the Lord | Alvin Love III
    2026/08/04

How do you know whether you're saving or spending your energy on the Lord?

This week, we kick off 21 Days of Prayer and Pastor Alvin unpacks what it really means to wait on the Lord in his message titled "Spend It on the Lord."

Drawing from Isaiah 40, Isaiah 55, and Proverbs 14, he reminds us that God's ways are often the opposite of our instincts. We think saving our energy grows our energy. Jesus says spending it on Him does, and He says the same about our time, our money, our talent (Luke 6:38, Matthew 16:25). Pastor Alvin shows how waiting isn't passive. It's active, like a server tending to a table, learning the person and priorities of Jesus.

As we give instead of hold back, our desires start to align with His. And there's no greater joy than that. This is the mindset God wants us to carry into these 21 days.

    Scripture references:

    • Isaiah 55:8-9
    • Proverbs 14:12
    • Isaiah 40:31
    • Luke 6:38
    • Matthew 16:25
    • John 15:5-11

  • Why Your RELATIONSHIP with GOD Might Be One-Sided | Alvin Love III
    2026/08/11

Is your relationship with God one-sided?

This week, Pastor Alvin opens up James 4, Luke 19, and John 15 to challenge us with a simple question: are we truly matching the God who has already given us everything? Every good relationship needs mutual attraction, mutual interest, and mutual service, and God proved his devotion long before we ever turned toward him. Through the story of Abraham and Isaac, we see a God who leads by example and only asks us to give what he's already given first. He is Emmanuel, God with us, and he's still asking the same question today.

Do you believe he wants you? And do you want him back? This message will challenge you to stop performing for God and start truly matching his heart through honest prayer and real devotion.

    Scripture references:

    • James 4:8
    • Luke 19:10
    • John 15:13
    • John 3:16

  • How to KNOW If You're Truly IN CHRIST | Alvin Love III
    2026/07/20

What does it really mean to be one with Christ? Building on last week's message on the new wineskin, Pastor Alvin unpacks Matthew 9:17 and shows why God can't pour new things into the old version of us. Through John 15, he introduces the Vinedresser and makes it clear that pruning isn't punishment. It's proof you're already bearing fruit.

We're either in Christ or we're not. Bearing much fruit or bearing none. Pastor Alvin challenges us to examine our hearts and our actions, because our lives reveal what we actually believe, and walks through the three levels of judgment: self-judgment, chastisement, and condemnation, making the case that judging yourself first is always the better path. The new wineskin isn't just a new heart. It's a new mind, the mind of Christ. Discover what it looks like to think, live, and walk fully in step with him. Scripture references:

    • Matthew 9:17
    • John 15:1-5
    • 2 Corinthians 13:5
    • 1 Corinthians 11:31-32
    • Proverbs 3:5-6

  • The Weight You're Carrying Was NEVER Yours to Hold | Charne Pretorius
    2026/07/27

What do you do when life isn't the way it should be?

Guest speaker Pastor Charne Pretorius from 3C Church in South Africa joins us with a powerful word from 2 Samuel 21:1-14, the story of a woman who refused to let her sons' story end where it seemed to end. When a promise made generations earlier finally came due, she had a choice to make. And she chose to put her weight where it belonged.

Pastor Charne reminds us that life isn't fair. There's an enemy who comes to steal, kill, and destroy, and he's never been on our side. But we were never meant to carry the weight of things that shouldn't be. We're called to cast our cares on Jesus, the one who cares for us, because he doesn't just carry the weight. He took the fall for it.

Pastor Charne also shares her own testimony, forty days of prayer and a victory that could only be God's timing. Whatever you're standing over right now, whatever feels too heavy to put down, this message will show you where to lay it. Everything can be the way it should be.

    Scripture references:

    • 2 Samuel 21:1-14
