In this episode I welcome club Treasurer Chris Walker to the pod. Chris shares his own and his family journey with the club that has seen him undertake a number of roles (sounds familiar) over the years up to his current role a the money man.

Managing the accounts is an important aspect in the running of the football club and I get a real insight into some of the detail of how, why and the importance of doing so as well as being invited to partner with club Kit provider and global brand, Nike.

We get to appreciate just how luck we are to have Chris at the club in his current role and how this helps the running of this amazing football club.

In this episode I welcome Matthew Cunningham, professional academy coach, and Liam Woods, coaching in the USA, to the pod.

Both of these lads grew up in Newton le Willows, knocked about with the same group of friends and both played and coached at NLWFC before going their separate ways.

Today, both talk through their own coaching experiences and the individual pathways that they took including Matthew coaching academy players at a Championship Club with A Lister Owners and Liam moving to Philadelphia in the US to pursue his coaching career.

Whilst both work in different parts of the world, they cannot hide their passion and affiliation to NLWFC as they sit at the club with me sharing past and present stories.

This week I welcome Tom Cunningham back to the podcast to talk all things affiliations and accreditations.

For most of us we probably take for granted the fact that each of our teams require affiliation and that, without this, the children in our teams simply cannot play. With over teams at the club, the time and effort required is no mean feat. Thankfully, NLWFC have Tom on hand to ensure that all runs smoothly.

Accreditations are also taken for granted but our 3 star sitting demonstrates the the standard expected at this amazing club as well as how those outside of the club view NWFC.
