This study evaluates a novel treatment combination for patients with a specific form of advanced prostate cancer that remains sensitive to traditional hormonal therapy but carries genetic repair deficiencies. Researchers compared a regimen of the PARP inhibitor talazoparib paired with enzalutamide against a standard control group to measure how long patients lived without their cancer worsening.
