  • Dysregulation to Flow: Healing with Akashic Bec
    2025/12/09

    Message us Mermaids 🧜🏼‍♀️

What if your emotions weren’t problems to fix but signals guiding you back to yourself? We sit down with Akashic Bec—Akashic Records channel, hypnotherapist, and numerologist—to explore emotional regulation, energy flow, and the practical side of mystical work. Together, we unpack why so many of us feel disjointed, how suppression distorts the body’s magnetic field, and why returning to center changes what life brings to your door.

    Details

Bec walks us through her consent‑led approach to the Akashic Records, turning scattered experiences into a clear soul map. We demystify hypnosis and past life regression, swap the Hollywood myths for the real theta‑state benefits, and outline when hypnosis can succeed where solo meditation stalls. We also dive into Emotion Code and Body Code—precision tools for releasing trapped emotions and inherited cords—so you can feel lighter without guessing. Empaths will find strategies to stop absorbing everyone else’s weather, while those who avoid feeling learn how to safely open, process, and move on.

Then we get wonderfully nerdy with numerology. Learn how your life path number acts like the foundation of your inner house, why master numbers (11, 22, 33) intensify lessons and gifts, and how personal years and months help you plan surgeries, launches, and important milestones. Beck shows how numbers pair with intuition to make better decisions in the real world—no complex math required. Along the way, we share grounded practices for consistency, why healing is a spiral not a race, and a powerful reminder to stop comparing your timeline to anyone else’s.

If you’re ready to trade overwhelm for flow and curiosity for control, hit play and come with us. Subscribe, leave a review to support the show, and share this episode with someone who needs the nudge to remember who they are.

  • Healing Through Photography, Wood Burning, and the Craft
    2025/11/18

    Message us Mermaids 🧜🏼‍♀️

********* TRIGGER ALERT - BRIEF MENTION OF SUICIDAL IDEATION **********

What if creativity could be a ritual that heals the deepest parts of you? We sit down with River Root—recovering attorney, self-taught artist, and unabashed classic car nerd—to explore how black-and-white photography, wood burning, and intention turned a life marked by breast cancer into a canvas for meaning. River shares the turning point from evangelical roots to an earth-centered spiritual practice, why a first group ritual felt like coming home, and how incense, music, and a pyrography pen create a flow state where time loosens and the soul gets loud.

    Details

The conversation travels through the intimate details that shape an artist’s eye: macro shots of headlights that look like diamonds, architectural cornices and doorways, and the sacred geometry hidden in everyday objects. We talk about the leap from posting photos in a phone-saturated world to transforming images into tactile keepsakes on wood, sometimes finished with watercolor, and soon with handcrafted sigils. Along the way, River opens up about language and illness—why “warrior” talk can harm, how hair loss makes an invisible battle suddenly public, and what it meant to choose life without reconstruction and still claim beauty, style, and desire on her own terms.

We also wrestle with the word “crone”: the stereotypes, the impostor feelings, and the reframing that turns it into autonomy, earned wisdom, and the freedom to design a life you actually want. There’s humor (“my boobs tried to kill me”), tenderness, and practical insight on turning intention into practice, embracing authenticity when it isn’t universally loved, and finding your people by making the art only you can make. If you’re curious about ritual, creativity, witchcraft, body image, or how to rebuild after a hard season, this one will stay with you long after it ends.

If this conversation moved you, tap follow, share it with a friend who needs it, and leave a review so others can find the show. Your support helps keep the magic flowing.

  • Let Your Art Be the Change
    2025/10/28

What if your boldest work began the moment you stopped asking for permission? We sit down with NAACP award-winning, self-taught artist, author, and brand strategist Kristen Nicole Mann to explore how creativity can be both sanctuary and sword—healing the self while challenging the stories we’re told about who gets seen and what counts as art.

    Details

Kristen traces the surprising path from a college journalism classroom and a foreclosure-law call center during the 2008 crash to her first unexpected art sale and a thriving practice rooted in color, text, and truth. She breaks down her intuitive process—no grids, no sketches, just guided choices that pair vibrant palettes with lines from scripture, Maya Angelou, and other voices that anchor a room. We talk about why she paints women across ages and shades with softness and strength, why hair becomes a site of dignity and memory, and how a single dismissive word—“gig”—clarified her purpose to build legacy-driven work that refuses to shrink.

Along the way, we look honestly at the art world’s gatekeeping: museum wings that relegate community stories to the margins, the difference between African and African American lenses, and the power of online platforms to open doors when institutions won’t. Kristen shares practical wisdom on navigating social media without losing yourself, setting boundaries that protect your energy, and cultivating character so your work can stand in hard weather. If you’ve ever been told your calling isn’t a “real job,” you’ll find a playbook here for turning doubt into direction and pain into color.

  • Sacred Containers, Real Transformation
    2025/10/07

    Message us Mermaids 🧜🏼‍♀️

What if the most profound spiritual work isn’t about learning more, but about being held better? We sit down with priestess and author Elyse Welles to explore the living architecture of spiritual containers—closed, intentional spaces designed for trust, transformation, and the kind of sisterhood that lets people bloom. Elyse shares how she plans by listening to sacred land, channels curriculum in trance, and sets clear boundaries so participants feel safe to be brave. The result isn’t just knowledge; it’s a cellular shift you can feel, a web of relationships that keeps humming long after the closing circle.

    Details

We get candid about what separates a true container from a workshop: devotion, presence, and ethical space holding. Elyse explains why she travels to oracular sites in Greece, how lineage and landscape shape the work, and why the same program never runs the same way twice. We talk about the power of closed groups, the surprising depth of online circles, and the importance of addressing real-world pain without spiritual bypassing. From veterans and civil servants seeking steady ground to seekers who “just knew” they had to join, these stories show how intention calls the right people at the right time.

If you’ve ever wondered whether remote ritual can be sacred, how pricing intersects with commitment, or what qualities make a trustworthy facilitator, you’ll find practical insight and heart-forward clarity here. Most of all, you’ll hear an invitation to name the community you need and let it find you. If you felt the tug while listening, follow it—your next chapter may already be knocking.

  • The Yoga Journey and Finding Spiritual Community
    2025/09/23

    Message us Mermaids 🧜🏼‍♀️

What happens when a traditional spiritual upbringing collides with the transformative power of yoga? Kascey Schvans takes us on her remarkable journey from Catholic roots to finding profound connection on the yoga mat.

    Details
Kascey's story begins in Canada, where exposure to diverse spiritual traditions planted seeds that would later flourish in unexpected ways. Describing herself as once sampling from the "religion buffet," Kascey shares how her path eventually led to a life-changing moment during meditation on Tamarindo Beach in Costa Rica. That pivotal experience redirected her from pursuing a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling toward becoming a trauma-informed yoga teacher.

The conversation delves into the fascinating intersection of traditional faith and modern spiritual practice. Kascey reveals how her relationship with her father, a Catholic deacon, has evolved through mutual respect despite their different paths. When he questioned her belief in "moon water," she astutely asked how that differed from a priest blessing water—highlighting the beautiful parallels between ancient rituals and contemporary spiritual practices.

For yoga newcomers and skeptics, Kascey offers invaluable insights that dispel common misconceptions. She explains the various types of yoga beyond the Instagram-perfect poses, emphasizing that the practice was traditionally designed to prepare the body for meditation, not just increase flexibility. Her passion for making yoga accessible shines through as she discusses how props and adaptations can help practitioners of all body types and abilities find comfort in their practice.

Kascey's current studies in psychoactive pharmaceutical investigation reflect her commitment to bridging ancient healing wisdom with modern science, particularly for veterans and those with PTSD. Her vision of creating a professional home at the intersection of healthcare and spirituality represents a hopeful future where these artificially separated domains can work in harmony.

Whether you're a devoted yogi, spiritually curious, or somewhere in between, Kascey's wisdom offers a fresh perspective on finding your authentic path. As she beautifully reminds us: "Get to know yourself in the quiet moments... without your job title, without your social labels... and if something isn't serving you, stop doing it." Follow Kascey on Instagram at aligned_rites_of_passage to continue your journey together.

  • Journeying to Delphi: Finding Mind-Body-Spirit Connection
    2025/09/09

    Message us Mermaids 🧜🏼‍♀️

What happens when you follow your intuition across the globe to ancient sacred sites? Katherine Eady's journey to Greece transformed not only her spiritual practice but her entire relationship with her body and emotions.

    Details

Despite having no ancestral connection to Greece and battling significant social anxiety, Katherine felt called to join a spiritual retreat to Delphi and other sacred sites. The experience demanded perfect love and perfect trust—surrendering to the unknown with strangers who would quickly become profound spiritual connections. At the Oracle of Trifonios, Katherine participated in a powerful fear release ceremony that began dissolving lifelong anxieties. In the ancient, unexcavated city of Gla, she experienced one of her deepest meditative states ever while chanting with her group in a liminal gateway space.

Most surprising was Katherine's realization that true spiritual connection doesn't come from escaping the body but from fully inhabiting it. Having grown up in a religious environment where only pleasant emotions were acceptable, she had spent decades suppressing her authentic feelings, resulting in physical manifestations like chronic tension and digestive issues. Through embodiment practices at the retreat, she began the challenging work of identifying and expressing the full spectrum of emotions—rage, grief, shame, and joy.

Perhaps most magical was her unexpected connection with the land spirits of Greece. In the Valley of the Muses, she could sense the wind spirits moving through the mountains before physically feeling the breeze. This reciprocal relationship between humans and the land became a powerful lesson: "We find healing in the land, but the land also can find healing in us."

Whether you're seeking spiritual transformation, emotional freedom, or simply a deeper connection with the natural world, Katherine's story reminds us that sacred journeys happen both externally and internally. What might you discover when you step into perfect trust?

  • Exploring the Sacred Cycles of Life with Deb Bowen
    2025/08/26

    Message us Mermaids 🧜🏼‍♀️

The iconic psychic, author, podcaster and instructor Deb Bowen doesn't just teach spirituality—she lives it. With bare feet touching the earth and altars scattered throughout her home, she embodies the earth-based wisdom she's cultivated over more than five decades of metaphysical study.

    Details

Our conversation with this beloved spiritual educator and co-host of the Psychic Teachers Podcast reveals how profoundly her approach to intuitive work has evolved. "I don't think of myself so much as a psychic anymore," Deb confesses, explaining that her mission has shifted toward helping humanity reconnect with Mother Earth. This environmental consciousness permeates everything from her writing to her teaching, grounded in the belief that we exist within "the great giving circle" where humans hold no special place above other beings.

Deb's new book, "Crafting the Wheel of the Year," co-authored with Claire Gelder, guides readers through the eight Celtic seasonal celebrations with historical context, spiritual teachings, and accessible craft projects. From Samhain (October 31st) marking the Celtic new year to Mabon at the autumnal equinox, these observances reconnect us with natural cycles too often forgotten in our supermarket-supplied lives. "We forget that bag of carrots used to live in the dirt," she reminds us, "and we forget the people who grew them and picked them."

Throughout our discussion, Deb weaves together threads from numerous spiritual traditions while emphasizing discernment—the critical thinking that helps each person discover their own truth. Her inclusive approach mirrors her experience teaching Tarot, where she sees the cards not merely as divination tools but as guides to understanding our connection with ourselves and the world around us.

Whether discussing the Beatles' influence on her spiritual journey or offering her friend Joel's wisdom—"push pause, be present, see the spirit"—Deb delivers profound insights with warmth and authenticity. Her teachings remind us that true spirituality isn't about escaping the world but embracing our place within it more fully.

  • The Revolutionary Love Program: Healing Trauma and Finding True Connection
    2025/08/12

    Message us Mermaids 🧜🏼‍♀️

Imagine a life where you're no longer held captive by the patterns, trauma, and limiting beliefs that formed during your earliest years. A life where you understand your true needs, communicate with clarity and compassion, and approach every relationship from a foundation of self-love rather than desperation or fear.

Psychic medium and holistic coach Melissa Gentile Bishop joins us to unveil the Revolutionary Love Program (RLP), a transformative 12-week journey that combines Eastern and Western healing modalities to release energetic blocks stored in our bodies. These blocks, formed between ages 0-12, create patterns that repeat throughout our lives until we consciously break them.

    Details

"Who remembers what happened at two years old that created this thing in me that tells me I can't love fully?" Melissa asks, highlighting how RLP uses kinesiology (muscle testing) and acupressure to identify and release these unconscious patterns. The program bridges the gap between mind and body, addressing the disconnection that occurs when we try to overcome emotional blocks through willpower alone.

After leaving her successful but unfulfilling corporate career, Melissa created her holistic studio Wholehearted in Dover to help others avoid the suffering she experienced. "I sat in my shit for so damn long," she candidly shares. "Now, 20 years later, I feel like I'm just finally living my life, full of love and vibrance and authentically who I am."

The most profound revelation from RLP might be its redefinition of boundaries and vulnerability. "Boundaries aren't ways to keep people out—they're ways to teach people how to love us," Melissa explains. Through conscious relating, we learn to see others as they truly are while honoring our own needs, creating authentic connections rather than codependent attachments.

Whether you're struggling with relationships, seeking deeper self-understanding, or simply tired of repeating the same patterns, Melissa's insights offer a roadmap to liberation. Ready to break free from what no longer serves you and step into your authentic self? This conversation might be the first step on your revolutionary journey.
